Makes good coffee.
A bit hard to read water lines on the carafe because they're white and harder to see. No water lines in the reservoir. Minor detail.
Coomes with "gold" reusable basket but can use paper filters too.

I actually bought this at Walmart. After 9 months the water starting spraying all over the counter, not into the basket where the ground were. I called Black and Decker and they had me mail in the 2" cut off cord with delivery confirmation and a check for $7.50. I got a new machine in about 2 wks. That new machine now won't brew 6 months later. You press power, to start the brew, and nothing happens. The plate won't get hot and no water circulates.
I called them again and they tried to charge me $7.50 again!! I asked for my money back, not really wanting the same horrible model. They said the only option was a new machine but they waived the $7.50. Now I'm waiting for my 3rd coffee maker! I would not recommend this brand at all!

Hard to find, went to three Walmart stores before finding a white one. Great price at $20.88. Looks good. Brews a good cup of coffee. What more can you ask for in an inexpensive coffee maker!

This is an easy to use coffee maker. It has a good glass carafe. It does not drip when you try to sneak a cup while brewing, unlike some others I have had.

We have had this Black & Decker DLX1050W coffee maker for a while now and it seems to do the job in good fashion. The test, over the long haul, will be finding out how it handles the large amount of lime we have in our water. We'll do the vinegar treatments as recommended but with our past coffee makers this has always been their downfall.
The 'only' complaint I would have with the Black & Decker company would be this. I broke the carafe of the first coffee maker I purchased and the cost of replacing that carafe was only a few dollars short of buying a whole new coffee maker. So this is what we did. Looking at the cost of replacement carafes for other makes I seem to remember them being in the 14-16 dollar range and B & D wanted $27 something for this one. The whole package from Amazon was $29.99.
The coffee maker itself however works great and we love the ability to have it ready for us in the morning. All in all I would recommend it to others.
