This machine looks nice, takes up very little space on your kitchen worktop, doesn't require a great deal of maintenance and is very simple to use. It makes hot and cold drinks. There is an adjustment for different cup sizes. This simple coffee maker is a Godsend for lazy people. Will satisfy your morning caffeine craving. Money well spent.

I just purchased the dolce gusto.
It's pretty and makes coffee just like starbucks (i'm brazilian, so here we drink more concentrated coffee, so this machine is perfect for me, starbucks lover). The pods really are expensive. they should make a special empty "pod" to regular powder coffee (I don't even know if that's possible, but it would help during those days when your pod order still hasn't arrived).
Well, after reading the reviews and buying me own machine, I think there are two things prospective owners should know (things that are not completely clear in the existing reviews):
1. The machine won't stop working once the pod is empty: you have to do the job, otherwise your coffee will turn into clear water. You have to know when to stop the machine, and it's not that easy at first.
2. It's simply not hot enough. I'm not talking about boiling coffee. I'm talking about a decent coffee temperature. The machine just DOESN'T deliver that. All my coffees go from the dolce gusto to my microwave (witch kind of kills the whole magic, don't you think?)
Hope Nestlé can fix those problems.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday--I am not a coffee drinker and she likes so many varieties of coffee--and I just hoped it wasn't going to be one of those stereotypical "buy your wife an appliance" gifts. Well, she loves it!
We are busy busy people and with four boys ranging 4-14 years old, we just don't have time sometimes for real brewed coffee. This thing is a dream for her! She does still use a single serving coffee pot, but this thing has a special place on the counter for mornings when she just doesn't have time for the grinding and brewing.
What a terrific machine!

Owned this for over a year. I use it everyday still. So fast and convienent and the coffee is so smooth. My favs are macchiato, cappuccino and mocha. Very very happy with this machine.

I spend a lot of money on the Starbucks and Peets Coffee. I tried 3 cappuchino machines till now and finally i must say, Dolce Gusto is the right one for me. I love this machine for following reasons...
Pros
* Small; Save the space in kitchen
* Easy; No hassle with the coffee powder and mixing the milk, etc...
* Cold and Hot Beverages
* Great Taste; Very near to the professional coffee shops
Cons
* You can use only Gusto Dolce coffee pouches / capsules
All in all, this is a great product! Definitely recommend.
