Super Slim June 6, 2010 D. Hodges 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bottom Line: This is the thinnest coffee maker on the market.
Recently renovated our kitchen and added a countertop appliance garage. Put a compact microwave in it and then hoped to slip a coffee maker beside it. Our old coffee maker was too wide, and I had a hard time finding one that wasn't too wide, even the small 4-cup makers. Finally found this one - it's only 5.5" wide, so it fits perfectly.
All the negatives people mention are true - it is tricky to pour without dripping onto the countertop (but I just turn around and pour over the sink) and there are no settings for this thing (just an on and off switch). But I'm no coffee snob, and being able to keep my coffee maker hidden away in my appliance garage is great. So if you need a slim coffee maker, this one is for you.
Pretty Good Coffeemaker May 3, 2010 Linda Meachum (Las Vegas, NV, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a pretty good coffeemaker. The lid over the water does not stay up when you want to remove the water reservoir. The base around the hot plate heats up as well. Very hot, if you try to push the coffeemaker by grabbing the base, you will burn yourself. It makes pretty good coffee, these other things are really minor nuisances. If you touch the base of the coffeemaker once, you will not touch it again.
One Sexy Coffee Maker! April 14, 2010 Ieeta Buffet (Chicago IL) This coffee maker is beautiful! This being said, looks are not always the best judge of something. The coffee pot itself is small - much smaller than other 10 cup pots i've had in the past. It takes a VERY long time to brew and even though it it not supposed to need a filter, if you do not use one you get a pot full of coffee grounds!
I debated whether to return this or not but decided to keep it because if its looks. I did keep my old brewer as a stand by in the event this one pisses me off.
Chic! February 1, 2010 E. Stroud (San Antonio, TEXAS) The look of this coffee maker is 5 stars. -Gorgeous! I love that you can pull out the water tank, easy to handle as it has a carrying handle. The coffee tastes great; I grind my own. My choice is the Ruta Maya Organic Brand
(and always use filtered water) smooth and delicious. I would only add two things to this coffee maker; an auto off function and a preset function. I also bought the matching toaster.
Beautiful coffeemaker February 4, 2009 Cristina B. Winkler (San Diego, CA United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I loved the way this coffee maker fit in with my decor! My only complaint is that when you pour coffee out of the carafe, it drips back and you can't avoid coffee on your counter. Very annoying. If this annoys you, don't buy this coffee maker. I overlook low tech for decor.
