This is the perfect coffee maker for the perfect price. We had a very old Bunn Pour-o-matic which was about 20 years old and finally becoming less efficient, so we replaced it with this model and we couldn't be happier. If we get only 10 or 15 years out of it we'll still be thrilled!

I purchased this product after years of saying my next coffee maker will be a bunn versus another cheap Mr. Coffee or Black and Decker. Yes this makes decent coffee, to be honest I don't notice a huge difference in taste but it is slightly better. My biggest complaint and yes it is a big one is that, when pouring a cup of coffee it pours coffee all over the counter worse than my last cheap coffee maker. I can not stand how much of a mess it makes when pouring coffee...I now pour my cup over the sink so that all the coffee that pours out (and it is a ton) goes into the sink. I don't know if I have a defective coffee pot or not. I feel that for a product that costs this much it should have been made much better, I really expected more for my money. On the plus side it does brew a decent pot of coffee in under 3 minutes. My other big complaint is that the filters are really hard to find, actually I have yet to find them and will need to order some online, which I think is a tad inconvenient to have to order coffee filters (this issue did not effect my rating of the product, it is just a minor annoyance). I have checked all the stores in my local area that sell bunn coffee makers and nobody ever has the filters.

I own a bed and breakfast in Wisconsin and used a BUNN in my business. Because of it's fast brewig time it is a great coffee maker. I make coffee three to four times a day for my guest so I put a lot of use on my Bunn. I had an old Bunn that I brought with me when I first opened the Inn and It lasted 8 years before I had to replace it with the Bunn NHBX.

After purchasing cheap coffee makers for years, and it seems like I was buying a new one every other year, because they don't brew the coffee at the correct temperature; the warming plates fade and you discover your second cup tastes worse than the first, I invested in this BUNN model. It is the best! A full pot of coffee takes all of 3 minutes to brew; the heating elements keeps the coffee just right. Sure, it's always on, but built-in safety devices allow the owner to turn the system off if you plan on leaving your home for more than one day. I highly recommend trying the BUNN system - if you consider yourself a coffee afficionado, you need to try it. Once you've tried it, you'll be converted as well.
